Personal Training

I offer personal training in which I design bespoke programmes based around you, your goals, your lifestyle and your experience. These take into account some of the major milestones of being a woman, whether that is training around fertility, your menstrual cycle, during pregnancy, post-natal, whilst you are perimenopausal or post menopause into your senior years.

Whatever journey you are on, your personal training programme will be just that - personal.

Group Classes

We run a weekly programme of small group sessions for those who enjoy the social side of exercise. Our community is an inclusive, positive and encouraging one  which YOU are very welcome to join.

    After having my second baby, I was keen but nervous about exercising again. Alyson at Balanced.her has not only enabled me to get back into regular exercise in a steady and manageable way but she has actually taught me to love exercise for the first time in my life.     I have been an intermittent (very amateur!) runner on and off for the past two years. But following the birth of my 3rd child earlier this year I hit a bit of a running rut.

    I had never previously considered a personal trainer before but was really eager to see what Alyson could do for me. I know I wanted to improve my fitness and feel better about myself but needed a change to get me excited about exercise again. I'm not eight weeks into my 12 week programme and I can honestly say I haven't looked back. The programme is packed full of variety and I'm learning new things each week.

    It has shown me that there is far more to exercising than hitting the treadmill but more importantly it has taught me to embrace what my body can do and not what it can't.

    Alyson is a breath of fresh air. She is encouraging, knowledgeable and so approachable and I genuinely look forward to my Wednesday morning in the Garden Studio. Whether it's trying new stretches in the sunshine on the lawn or sprints in the rain, I can honestly say I have loved every minute.

    The experience has undoubtedly made me stronger and fitter but Alyson has taught me to be kinder to my body and myself and for that I am very grateful.

    I have never been to a more safe, friendly and inclusive environment to work out in. As a regular gym goer I was a little worried that the session might be too light but I couldn't have been more wrong. Everyone works out at their own pace but we all do it together, this really helped to motivate us all. The level of inclusivity across all ages and abilities was something I've not really found anywhere else. I love that it is held outdoors and it's a fantastic way to start the day. This is a completely fresh perspective on exercise and I loved every minute of it! Alyson was patient and kind and her relaxed approach made everyone feel comfortable.
